DBK and UNU

The main directions of fundamental and applied research:

  • Plant protection and biotechnology;
  • Phytosanitary monitoring and molecular genetic diagnostics of harmful and beneficial organisms of agroecosystems;
  • Biodiversity and natural biocenotic regulation of agroecosystems;
  • Taxonomic study and selection of useful bioagents for the creation of new biological and biotechnological plant protection products based on them;
  • Plant immunity and agrocenosis resistance;
  • Chemical communication of harmful and beneficial types of agroecosystems, identification and synthesis of signaling substances and development of pest population monitoring and management tools based on them;
  • Creation, maintenance and study of the bioresource collection "State Collection of Entomoaccariphages and Microorganisms" (DBK);
  • Development of biological plant protection technologies for organic farming.
